# Third-party schema provenance

OSD profiles [Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD)](https://github.com/ards-project/ard-spec).
The vendored ARD schemas retain their source annotations in `$comment`.

## ARD v0.91

Contract set `0.3.0` pins upstream revision
`aa3e598bb7752a9175897823234311216acfa864` and its
`spec/schemas/ard-entry.schema.json`. The copy changes only the schema ID and
source annotation.

The license from that upstream revision is included at
[contracts/licenses/ard-0.91.txt](/contracts/licenses/ard-0.91.txt).

## Additional vendored source material

The repository also retains ARD v0.9 source copies from revision
`5fa2f5aef790b478319f6a3b43adf4661b0ed0e0` and its
`spec/schemas/ai-catalog.schema.json`. Their `$comment` annotations identify
schema ID changes and, where applicable, the adjustment allowing nested
metadata values. The corresponding license is included at
[contracts/licenses/ard-0.9.txt](/contracts/licenses/ard-0.9.txt).

Both upstream licenses specify Apache License 2.0. They do not establish a
project-wide license for OSD content.
